  • Occupational Health Advisor: Professor Sayeed Khan DGM, FRCGP, FFOM, FRCP, CMIOSH, DM.

Medical Logic and Interpretation

The information provided in the Key to LifeTM has been developed and overviewed by the experts above, who have implemented best practice recommendations from the National Institute for Clinical Excellence (NICE) , the British Hypertension Society (BHS) and other recognised centres of excellence for patient care in combination with their own individual expertise and experience.

The Key to LifeTM has this medical logic programmed into its heart and applies this expert knowledge to each reading which has been entered. The system can then inform the user whether their readings are falling within the ideal limits or whether they need to change their lifestyle or require further medical advice. The system does not diagnose.

The Key to LifeTM system is deeply rooted in preventative healthcare and therefore also looks at trends to try to avoid problems from occurring. Each reading which is entered into the system is analysed to see whether it is part of a trend and the user informed if this could become cause for concern. The intention being to empower an individual to take preventative action in their lifestyle before problems occur.

Similarly, the system identifies anomalies or 'unusual readings' such as sudden movements in blood pressure and charts these for a GP to review at the surgery.
